“What must my heart let go of” is a question I journal pretty much every morning.

Last night, my partner and I talked about the lessons we learned the moment before we entered each others’ lives. We realized that our lessons balanced one another, as if they were puzzle pieces to one another — the yin to the other’s yang!

His lesson was to let go of forcing things to happen, to simply let the results of his actions come to him.

“If I know it’s right, it won’t pass me,” was his affirmation.

Mine was to take action, to have the self trust and confidence in what I want — to simply go for it.

So I saw him, and asked him out. He saw I was right for him, and as you can see, we learned our lessons.

We let go of what our hearts didn’t need so we could invite what our hearts truly want.

So I ask you:
